it was a bit fresh on Wing School playing fields before the senior cross country started, and the sight of the younger age groups chasing round the course in vests and shorts only made me feel colder!

Tring runners began to arrive in ones and twos but we were all waiting for Tony, seen here manfully supervising Jane and Eli as they carried the club tent from his car . . so that we could get on with the main event of the day . . Putting Up The Tent!!

others, of course, had the good sense to stay in their cars until the tent was up and tied down . .

and then we all went home . . until next October when we can all go out and put the tent up again ☺
