We really enjoyed our morning at the Shiplake Scramble, which started and finished in the beautiful grounds of Shiplake College, on the banks of the River Thames a little way upstream of Henley on Thames . .

As well as the 10k Multi Terrain Race there were two 2k races for those who were too young to take part in the main event . .

There was lots to do for those who weren't taking part in the running, and the fact that the sun failed to shine didn't stop everyone from having a great morning . . nor did it detract from the views enjoyed by those of us who strayed beyond the playing fields of Shiplake . .
