so what you do is, you turn up at the British Waterways Canal Dock in the middle of Wolverhampton, which is hidden away through this arch . . and then you go into this building - a night club - to collect your chip and go to the loo and whatever else you may need to do . .

you leave your bag in a van with a man . . and then hang around until it's your time to start, when you gather here and listen to the briefing about using the canal and *the* tunnel . .

before passing through this gate in single file, have your number taken, cross the blue mat and your time starts *now*!!
